Our Inspiration

"A mind without education is the darkest part of human being" says St. Chavara.

Our legacy of education is inherited from St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of CMI, CMC Congregations. He was a luminary not only in the spiritual and ecclesial level, he was also the top most social reformers India has ever seen. He was a great visionary who played a major role in uplifting people especially of the lower ranks of the society. He is a guiding light and inspiration in all our endeavours. He was keen to initiate a movement which ensure public education, and thus open possibilities for employment. We believe that our community is being called to reimagine the future. We are making learning more relevant and transformational by following the vision of our inspiration, St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara.

St. Therese of Lisiuex

Our Patron Saint is St. Therese of Lisieux, France. We follow her teachings of how to be holy, how to be a child of God, and to be close to God. She believed that being holy is very simple – it involves trusting God with confidence and doing ordinary things in life with great love. Her "little ways" is about doing little things to please people, bring a smile to someone's face and heart, reaching out to let people know they are special – and accepting disappointments with patience not anger. St.Therese is the patron of childhood spirituality and makes holiness available to everyone.
